Neurosurgery - Physician - Des Moines - Base Salary $1.1 Million, $100,000 Bonus!

MercyOne Des Moines is seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join our collegial Neurosurgery team.

Pay

• Competitive base salary of $1.1 million with 2-year income guarantee
• $100,000 bonus
• $15,000 moving allowance
• $5,000 CME allowance
• Malpractice insurance with tail coverage
• 403(b) retirement plan

• 31–35 days of paid time off per year

Schedule

• 2 clinic days and 3 OR days per week
• No elective cases or clinic while on trauma call
• Call schedule: 1:4 with APP taking first call

Responsibilities

• Case mix includes complex spine, neurovascular conditions, brain, and busy trauma service
• Dedicated clinic RN for each physician
• APP’s primary assist with daily inpatient rounding

About the Role

• On-site X-Ray, CT, MRI, and functional MRI
• Robust spine center with integrated Pain and PMR
• EMR: Cerner (transitioning to EPIC in Fall 2025)
