Neurosurgeon - Locums Coverage

About the role

This role involves providing call-only coverage with a 30‑minute response time. You will see 20‑25 patients per shift and perform both inpatient and outpatient rounding. The role offers 24‑hour access to a Weatherby Healthcare consultant.

Responsibilities

• Managing neurosurgical cases
• Managing trauma
• Providing patient care

Requirements

• Experience in general and adult neurosurgery
• Trauma neurosurgery expertise required

Qualifications

• Experience in neurosurgery
• Experience in trauma care
• Experience in relevant procedures

Skills

• Pediatric care (preferred)
• Cerebrovascular procedures (preferred)
• Spinal surgery with instrumentation (preferred)
• VP shunt (preferred)
• Seizure treatment (preferred)
• Strong clinical skills in neurosurgery, trauma, and outpatient care
• Preferred experience in pediatric and cerebrovascular procedures
