Neurosurgeon - Locum Coverage

About the role

This position is for a Board-Certified Neurosurgeon with dual neuroendovascular training, providing 24-hour emergency call coverage in a facility equipped for complex neurological emergencies, trauma, and stroke interventions.

Responsibilities

• Perform stroke interventions and neuroendovascular procedures
• Manage an average of 6-10 cases daily
• Operate independently without midlevel support
• Handle trauma consultations in an adult patient population
• Provide emergency neurosurgical care in a hospital setting with advanced neurointerventional infrastructure

Requirements

• Board certification in neurological surgery
• Specialized training in neuroendovascular procedures
• Prescriptive authority
• Ability to work on-site during 24-hour shifts
