Neurosurgeon – General & Complex Spine

About the role

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a BC or BE Neurosurgeon to join the Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute in Temple, Texas. General neurosurgery with sub-specialization in complex spine is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a mentor for residents, fellows and medical students in Department of Neurosurgery and Neuroscience Institute.
• Participate in active clinical and translational research programs as well as numerous on-going clinical trials.
• Eligible for faculty appointment in affiliated medical school with academic rank commensurate with training and experience.

Requirements

• Doctorate Degree in Medicine
• Licensed to Practice Medicine in the state of Texas by the Texas Medical Board
• Where applicable - Employee shall be currently board certified in his or her speciality or demonstrate board of the American Board of Medical Specialties or the Bureau of Osteopathic Specialists
