Neurosurgeon - Complex Spine

About the role

Seeking a BC/BE Neurosurgeon to join a well-established, hospital-employed group of 10 neurosurgeons and 1 interventional neuroradiologist in a leading neurosurgery practice. The network includes a Level 1 Trauma and Comprehensive Stroke Center, serves over 1.1 million residents across multiple campuses, has minimal pediatric cases (with stabilization and transfer as needed), and offers extensive support from advanced practitioners and integrated care teams, plus opportunities for teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Providing comprehensive general neurosurgery services, including complex spine procedures
• Sharing on-call duties equitably within the group, covering urgent and surgical cases
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams such as neurology, neuro-oncology, pain management, and others
• Utilizing fully equipped ORs and electronic medical records (Epic, PACS)
• Participating in a network serving a population of over 1.1 million residents across multiple campuses

Qualifications and Skills

• Board-certified or board-eligible in neurosurgery
• Fellowship training in general and complex spine is required
• Comfortable with all aspects of general neurosurgery
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
