Responsibilities

• Level II Trauma Center
• Dedicated Neuro ICU (the largest in Virginia!) and Neuro Intermediate Unit
• Neuropsych ICU led by board certified Neurocritical care physician
• 24/7 In-house Critical Care Coverage
• Acute Rehab
• Primary Stroke Center
• Neurointervention, epilepsy, and movement disorders as part of the Brain & Spine Service Line
• Collaborative approach to care in partnership with IP/OP Rehab, PM&R.
• Dyad led service line model.

Requirements

Completion of medical degree and residency/fellowship training in neurosurgery
MD/DO with certification by an American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) board in physician's primary specialty. Must be board certified or in the process of certifying.
