About the role

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking full-time Neuroradiologists to read evening neuroradiology studies on emergency department patients and inpatients.

Responsibilities

  • Read evening neuroradiology studies on emergency department patients and inpatients.
  • Rotate 1 week on (7 days, 9-hour shift, 6p-3a) and 2 weeks off (inclusive of recovery, vacation, CME, academic).
  • Interpretations will be provided in conjunction with trainees including our team of radiology residents (20 per year) and neuroradiology fellows (9 per year).
  • Focus clinical care on imaging obtained as part of the Emory Healthcare System, including Emory University Hospital, a tertiary referral center, and its network of 7 hospitals centered in the Atlanta metropolitan area.
  • Work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Participate in both the clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision.
  • Opportunities for additional extra duty clinical work for additional salary if desired.

Requirements

  • Abr Board-certified/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
  • Subspecialty fellowship training in neuroradiology is required.

  • Minimum qualifications: ABR Board-certified/eligible and eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license. Subspecialty fellowship training in neuroradiology is required.
