Neuroradiologist - Evenings (Remote or Hybrid)

About the Role

The Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences at Emory University School of Medicine is seeking full-time Neuroradiologists to read evening neuroradiology studies on emergency department patients and inpatients. This position is for expansion due to increased volume and is eligible for remote work.

This evening position rotates 1 week on (7 days, 9-hour shift, 6p-3a) and 2 weeks off (inclusive of recovery, vacation, CME, and academic time), equating to 121 clinical shifts per year. The role includes 17 weeks of remote clinical evenings per year and can be performed 100% remotely from anywhere in the USA except New Jersey, Hawaii, or Alaska. In-person components can be accommodated if desired.

This role requires residency in the state of Georgia. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to the employee.

Responsibilities

• Focus on clinical care for emergency department and inpatient imaging within the Emory Healthcare System and Grady Memorial Hospital.
• Provide interpretations in conjunction with trainees, including radiology residents (21 per year) and neuroradiology fellows (10 per year).
• Perform 100% neuroradiology, including CT, CTA, and MRI of the brain, head & neck, and spine.
• Participate in both clinical and non-clinical divisional activities, including education and trainee supervision.
• Opportunities for additional shifts covering general radiology and other body areas (chest/body) for extra pay, as well as daytime neuroradiology shifts.

Requirements

• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology.
• ABR Board-certified or eligible.
• Eligible to obtain an unrestricted Georgia medical license.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to function well in evening shifts.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
