About the role
The Department of Radiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Associate or Full Professor positions in the non-tenure academic clinician track, with expertise required in neuroradiology.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding clinical service to all referring clinicians and expert clinical consultation to partners in Emergency Medicine, Otorhinolaryngology: Head and Neck Surgery, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Psychiatry, and Ophthalmology
- Participate in the Neuroradiology off-hours on-call program, including evening, night, and weekend coverage
- Provide daily clinical supervision, teaching residents and fellows during readouts and conferences
- Participate in interdisciplinary conferences with clinical sub-specialties
- Teach medical students rotating through the Department of Radiology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Philadelphia Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Pennsylvania Hospital
- Serve in an administrative, educational leadership role within the Neuroradiology division
Requirements
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree
- Certification by the American Board of Radiology
- Neuroradiology CAQ-eligible
- Completion of a two-year neuroradiology fellowship is strongly recommended

Penn Radiology provides clinical services for the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Presbyterian Medical Center, Pennsylvania Hospital, Philadelphia Veteran Affairs Medical Center, and affiliated outpatient imaging centers in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
