About the role
The Neurodiversity Center of Excellence is seeking a contract neuropsychologist to support provider network development efforts. This position will work closely with the team to develop and implement strategies that promote neurodiversity within the healthcare provider network.
Responsibilities
- Conduct neuropsychological assessments to evaluate cognitive functioning and identify areas of strength and need
- Develop and deliver training programs for healthcare providers on neurodiversity and best practices in care
- Collaborate with the team to design and implement outreach initiatives to attract neurodiverse healthcare professionals to the network
- Provide consultation and support to healthcare providers on managing and supporting patients with neurodiversity
Requirements
- M.D. or Ph.D. in psychology, neuroscience, or related field
- Board-certified or board-eligible in clinical neuropsychology
- Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and learning disabilities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Experience in developing and implementing strategies to promote diversity and inclusion in healthcare settings
- Knowledge of best practices in neurodiversity care and management
- Experience with data analysis and reporting
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Benefits
This is a contract position (1099) with benefits including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a competitive compensation package.
Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
The position is a hybrid schedule, combining remote work with in-person meetings and collaboration.
