About the role
The Neurodiversity Center of Excellence is seeking a contract neuropsychologist to support provider network development efforts. This position will be based in Boise, Idaho and Pocatello, Idaho.
Responsibilities
- Conduct neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive functioning and identify areas of strength and need
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop strategies for accommodating neurodiverse patients
- Provide training and education to healthcare staff on neurodiversity and best practices for care
- Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to build a robust provider network
Requirements
- PhD in Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology
- Current license to practice neuropsychology in at least one state
- Experience working with neurodiverse populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Qualifications
- Expertise in neuropsychological assessment and intervention
- Knowledge of neurodiversity and accommodations for neurodiverse individuals
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
