Neuropsychologist - Contract (1099) - Utah

About the role

The Neurodiversity Center of Excellence is seeking a contract neuropsychologist to support provider network development efforts. This position will focus on neurodiversity within the healthcare system and contribute to the center's mission of promoting inclusion and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Conduct neuropsychological evaluations to assess cognitive functioning and identify areas of strength and need
• Develop and implement strategies to improve access to care for individuals with neurodiversity
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to enhance their understanding of neurodiversity and improve patient outcomes
• Provide training and education to healthcare professionals on neurodiversity and best practices in care delivery
• Advocate for policy changes that promote inclusion and accessibility for individuals with neurodiversity

Requirements

• PhD in Psychology with a specialization in neuropsychology
• Current license to practice neuropsychology in Utah
• Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to travel between Salt Lake City and Hurricane, Utah as needed

Qualifications

• Expertise in assessing and treating neurodevelopmental disorders
• Knowledge of best practices in neurodiversity care
• Experience with telehealth services

• Strong writing and presentation skills
