Neuropathologist

About the Role

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Tulane University School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained Neuropathologist. The position is available at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor, based on the candidate's experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic services in neuropathology, including participation in autopsy and brain examination.
• Teach residents and medical students.
• Engage in scholastic research in a neuropathology area, such as neurodegeneration.
• Additional service capability in general surgical pathology is a plus.

Requirements

• Hold a medical degree (M.D. or D.O.).
• Be board-eligible or certified in AP/CP or AP pathology and neuropathology.
• Qualify for an unrestricted medical license in the State of Louisiana.
