Responsibilities
- Aid in neurological examinations and diagnostic procedures such as MRI, CT, myelograms, and CSF taps.
- Prepare pre-operative anesthesia plans.
- Calculate and administer drug dosages and pre/induction medications.
- Administer constant rate infusions and monitor anesthesia levels during surgeries.
- Perform pre-operative patient assessments, IV catheterization, and assist in post-operative care.
- Maintain detailed records of surgical procedures, anesthesia protocols, and patient vitals.
- Communicate with clients and provide education on patient care.
- Utilize advanced techniques such as locoregional anesthesia, arterial catheterization, and CPCR.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
- Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) or equivalent certification.
- Experience in a clinical setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
- Knowledge of anesthesia techniques and emergency care.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a recognized veterinary technician program.
- Current LVT license or equivalent certification.
- Experience in a veterinary setting preferred.

Pay
$26–$30/hr, starting pay based on licensure, skill set, and experience.
Schedule
Full-time, 4 x 10-hour shifts, Monday–Thursday.
