Neurology RN Team Leader

About the role

This role involves providing clinical leadership and support in a healthcare setting, overseeing staff training, scheduling, and evaluating clinical competencies.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients
• Educate families on health promotion
• Safely administer medications following regulatory standards
• Maintain CLIA Waived Lab standards and oversee lab testing
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities to ensure quality care and compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and facilitate patient care coordination
• Support in-office procedures such as Non-Stress Testing on OB patients
• Act as a resource for clinical staff
• Participate in educational initiatives
• Promote adherence to infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• At least one year of healthcare experience
• Current NY State RN license
• CPR certification

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in primary or specialty care
• Supervisory background
• Driver's license

Work environment

Office setting near patients and staff, with exposure to disinfectants and PPE requirements. The role serves patients of all ages and involves access to non-restricted patient information.
