Neurology Residency Program Director

Responsibilities

• Lead ACGME initial accreditation processes including application and compliance management
• Design and implement the neurology residency curriculum, enhancing it over time
• Oversee all aspects of resident recruitment and evaluation processes
• Chair Clinical Competency and Program Evaluation Committees, managing milestone reviews
• Mentor and advocate for neurology residents throughout their training
• Collaborate with leadership and faculty to maintain accreditation standards in training

Qualifications

• MD, DO, or equivalent; BE/BC in Neurology (ABPN)
• At least five years of experience as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited neurology residency program
• PREFERRED: Minimum of three years of Graduate Medical Education (GME) administrative experience
• Current or eligible medical licensure in Delaware; able to meet credentialing requirements
• Faculty appointment at Assistant Professor level or above (or eligibility)
• Clinical background in vascular neurology/stroke, neurohospitalist medicine, or general/subspecialty ambulatory neurology
