Responsibilities
- Lead ACGME initial accreditation processes including application and compliance management
- Design and implement the neurology residency curriculum, enhancing it over time
- Oversee all aspects of resident recruitment and evaluation processes
- Chair Clinical Competency and Program Evaluation Committees, managing milestone reviews
- Mentor and advocate for neurology residents throughout their training
- Collaborate with leadership and faculty to maintain accreditation standards in training
Qualifications
- MD, DO, or equivalent; BE/BC in Neurology (ABPN)
- At least five years of experience as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited neurology residency program
- PREFERRED: Minimum of three years of Graduate Medical Education (GME) administrative experience
- Current or eligible medical licensure in Delaware; able to meet credentialing requirements
- Faculty appointment at Assistant Professor level or above (or eligibility)
- Clinical background in vascular neurology/stroke, neurohospitalist medicine, or general/subspecialty ambulatory neurology
