About the role

NYP/Methodist Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neurologist specializing in EMG/Neuromuscular to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders, with a focus on electromyography and neuromuscular diseases.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients with neuromuscular disorders using advanced diagnostic techniques including EMG and nerve conduction studies.
• Collaborate with other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans for complex cases.
• Conduct research and contribute to the advancement of knowledge in the field of EMG/Neuromuscular medicine.
• Provide clinical mentorship to medical students, residents, and fellows.

Requirements

• M.D. or equivalent degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board certification in Neurology.
• Subspecialty certification in EMG/Neuromuscular preferred.
• Experience in academic settings or teaching hospitals is a plus.
