About the role
The Neurology Department at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a faculty member specializing in Headache Medicine. As part of a dynamic team, the ideal candidate will focus on collaboration, innovation, and teamwork, and must be board certified or eligible in Neurology with additional fellowship training in Headache Medicine.
Responsibilities
- 100% outpatient position with the ability to cover 100% of headache medicine cases
- Opportunity for inpatient coverage by Neuro-Hospitalists, with optional rotations available
- Strong interdisciplinary specialty support
- Involvement in the teaching of medical students, neurology residents, and headache medicine fellows
- Minimal after-hours and weekend call obligations
- Support for special interests
