Faculty - Neurology (General/Headache Specialist)

About the role

The Department of Neurology at KUMC Legacy campus is seeking a full-time faculty member with expertise in General Neurology and Headache Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and manage patients with general neurological conditions.
• Provide care in general neurology clinics and on occasion, cover the academic teaching service in the inpatient hospital unit.
• Supervise, teach, and provide occasional lectures to neurology medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Engage in clinical research, including clinical trials, and contribute to scholarly publications as desired.

Requirements

• Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the State of Kansas.
• Board-certified or Board-eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of a neurology residency training.

This position requires a formal degree in the cited discipline area(s) to ensure that candidates have the foundational knowledge and skill set required to perform the duties of the position.
