About the role

The Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein College of Medicine is seeking new faculty hires at the Assistant or Associate Professor level in the Department of Neurology, specifically in Cognitive Neurology and Dementia.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients with dementia including Alzheimer’s disease (AD), vascular dementia, and Fronto-temporal dementia (FTD)
• Work with an interdisciplinary team at the Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease (CEAD)
• Teach and train medical students, residents, and post-doctoral fellows
• Engage in research and clinical trials
• Be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Neurology
• Participate in productivity-based income supplements

Requirements

• M.D. degree with interest in Cognitive Neurology and Dementia
• Interest in research or clinical trial participation
• Experience in geriatric neurology is welcome
• Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Neurology
