Neurologist - Cognitive Disorders

About the role

The Neurologist - Cognitive Disorders position is available at CHI Health Clinic in Omaha, Nebraska. This role is within the Neurology department and works a full-time schedule of 80 hours per pay period. The position is open to candidates with a J1 or H1 visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurological services focusing on memory care
• Work with a multidisciplinary team of specialists
• Collaborate with Creighton University School of Medicine for academic appointments and teaching opportunities
• Participate in translational research with Creighton neuroscientists
• Contribute to the CHI Health Immanuel's Neurological Institute, which is the nation's fourth Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) such as EPIC

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board eligible or board certified in Neurology
• Licensure in Nebraska
• DEA certification

Qualifications

• Completed fellowship training in Cognitive Disorders, Behavioral Neurology, or Geriatric Neurology
• Passionate about providing comprehensive clinical services with a patient-centered approach

Pay

The posted compensation range is $168.27 - $168.27 /hour, which is a reasonable estimate based on the circumstances at the time of posting. CommonSpirit Health may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law.
