Neurologist at Care New England (Outpatient w/ Inpatient Consults)
Job Summary
Care New England is seeking a full-time board eligible/certified Neurologist to join their growing neurology team at Kent Hospital in Warwick, Rhode Island.
Primary Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage disorders of the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and muscles
- Perform comprehensive neurological assessments through patient history, examination, and diagnostic evaluation
- Diagnose and treat a broad range of neurological conditions, including Stroke, Epilepsy, Dementia, etc.
- Develop individualized treatment plans, prescribe therapies, and monitor patient outcomes
- Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic studies including MRIs, CTs, EEG, EMG, etc.
- Support clinical research and subspecialty interests
- Precept medical students and residents
Work Environment
Primarily outpatient neurology practice with inpatient consult coverage at Kent Hospital
Daily patient volume of approximately 15–20 patients
Epic EMR utilized systemwide
