Neurohospitalist

The role involves providing inpatient neurology consultation and management for a variety of neurological conditions, including stroke, TIA, seizures, headaches, and multiple sclerosis. Responsibilities include collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychologists, and neuroradiologists to deliver advanced neurological care. Qualifications require BE/BC in general neurology, with fellowship training in neurohospitalist care, vascular neurology, or advanced stroke training preferred. Skills needed include strong clinical assessment, teamwork, and familiarity with cutting-edge neurological procedures. Key duties encompass providing comprehensive inpatient neurological evaluations, participating in a 24/7 coverage schedule on a week-on, week-off basis, and contributing to an innovative neurological institute recognized for excellence in stroke and neuro-oncology treatments.
