Neurofeedback Technician

Responsibilities

  • Administer quantitative electroencephalogram (qEEG), record brainwave activity, and process raw data using specialized software.
  • Create detailed reports, collaborate with the family system, and present brain mapping results in a clear, relatable way for parents.
  • Manage and prioritize scheduling to ensure students are seen consistently for treatment sessions.
  • Compare treatment data over time to evaluate progress and recommend protocols.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in treatment planning meetings.
  • Troubleshoot hardware/software issues and coordinate with manufacturers for solutions.
  • Contribute to ongoing research projects focused on advancing neurofeedback practices.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older
  • Must pass a state and federal background check
  • Must pass a physical and drug screen
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment
  • Experience: Preferred - Experience in case management or certification as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP)

Qualifications

  • REQUIRED: BS in Psychology from a regionally accredited university or college in the US

Skills

  • Proficiency in specialized neurofeedback software
  • Excellent communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Hourly Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule

Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM (40 hours per week)
