Neurodiagnostic Technologist III - Riley
About the role
We are seeking a full-time, night shift neurophysiologist at Riley Children's Hospital. The position involves preparing and providing neurophysiological testing and monitoring in various clinical settings, including ICU, epilepsy, neonatal, and others. Key responsibilities include maintaining high-quality recordings, troubleshooting, reporting findings, and collaborating with less experienced team members.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and provides neurophysiological testing and monitoring in clinical, Neurotelemetry/EMU, and intraoperative settings.
- Demonstrates proficiency in ICU, Epilepsy, and seizure, neonatal, and other complex neurophysiological patterns.
- Works independently when recording and monitoring patient data.
- Reports findings and triages patient care needs when necessary.
- Maintains high quality recordings and troubleshoots technical issues.
- Facilitates and collaborates with the development of less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and mentoring peers.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree or equivalent years of experience is required.
- A Graduate from a CAAHEP accredited Neurodiagnostic Program is preferred.
- Registry in CLTM is required.
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Ability to meet all competencies related to registries is required.
- Manual dexterity, visual acuity, and the ability to concentrate for long periods under stress are essential.
- The ability to recognize neurological compromising conditions and communicate these conditions effectively is required.
Qualifications
Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Skills
Proficiency in ICU, Epilepsy, and seizure, neonatal, and other complex neurophysiological patterns.
