About the Role

Under administrative direction, obtains electroencephalographic tracings and measurements of brain function with a deep understanding of the patient’s pathological condition and physical characteristics to optimize examinations for both EEG and multimodality evoked potential testing. Provides appropriate clinical and technical information to physicians to facilitate accurate interpretation. Performs testing across all patient populations, including children, newborns through adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients, in both the Ambulatory Care Center and inpatient acute care settings.

Requirements

• Completion of an AMA-approved course of study in electroencephalography.
• Certification as a Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist or eligibility for registry.
• BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
• Prior experience in electroencephalography with experience in Evoked Potential testing preferred.
• Any combination of experience and training that provides the requisite skills, knowledge, and ability.
