Neuro Physical Therapist Assistant PTA Fulltime or PRN

Allaire Rehab and Nursing is seeking a passionate and motivated Physical Therapy Assistant to join our interdisciplinary team. As one of only 14 facilities in the nation certified to provide specialized care to young adults (ages 21-59) with neurological impairments, our Horizons Neurological Program is designed to foster growth, independence, and restoration of functional abilities. Responsibilities

• Work under the supervision of physical therapists
• Assist patients in performance of therapeutic exercises under the direct supervision of the physical therapists
• Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care
• Support and educate residents, families, and caregivers on their plan of care and therapy goals

Requirements

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant License in the state of NJ
• Current CPR certification
• Passion for working with a neurologically impaired young adult population
• Team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills
• New graduates are welcome and encouraged to apply - mentorship available
