About the Role

The role involves working with a diverse patient population in a high-acuity environment, emphasizing clinical skill development and collaborative care.
Responsibilities
- Promote patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Participate in ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, patients, and families.
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, cultural, and spiritual factors.
- Maintain safety-sensitive standards, working alertly to ensure a safe care environment.
Requirements
- Active RN license required.
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree minimum; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- No prior experience necessary; less than 2 years preferred for advanced qualifications.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Certification eligibility in NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) is a plus.
