About the role

The Piedmont Augusta Hospital is seeking a Neuro-Hospitalist committed to providing high quality and compassionate care. This position aims to build and expand the neurology program and neurosciences service line, aiming to become the largest and highest quality program in Georgia.

Responsibilities

• Help build and expand the neurology program and neurosciences service line
• Develop and foster the growth of the program
• Access state-of-the-art technology
• Provide care for over 2,000 medical stroke admissions in the Metro Atlanta area and over 3,000 across the entire system
• Work alongside the existing team of neurosurgeons and other neuro specialists

Requirements

• BC/BE Neurology MD or DO degree
• APP support for 7 on/7 off shifts
• Ability to read EEGs is welcomed

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
