About the role
Join CHI Saint Joseph Medical Group, part of CommonSpirit Health, at Saint Joseph Hospital in Lexington, Kentucky. Provide inpatient Neurology care within a supportive, patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage inpatient Neurology consultations and rounding as part of a full-time, employed Neuro Hospitalist team working a seven-on, seven-off schedule.
- Collaborate with three employed Neuro Hospitalists, Neurology APPs, outpatient Neurology providers, Interventional Neurology specialists, and nursing support.
- Use Epic across hospital and practice locations.
- Help shape and grow the Neuro Hospitalist program.
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Neurology.
- Active Medical License in the State of Kentucky, or ability to obtain prior to employment.
- DEA certificate.
- Completion of ACGME Neurology Residency.
