Neurology_Hospitalist
Position Overview
This is a 100% inpatient position with no outpatient responsibilities, ideal for a neurologist passionate about academic medicine, bedside teaching, and high-acuity neurologic care. The Neurohospitalist will rotate weekly through several services to provide comprehensive inpatient neurologic care across two campuses: Moses Campus (~700 bed hospital) and Weiler Campus (~400 bed hospital).
Primary Team Inpatient Service
Lead a general neurology inpatient team teaching neurology residents.
Alternatively supervise a PA-supported primary neurology service.
General Neurology Consult Service
- Attending-only consult service
- Resident-based teaching consult service
Weiler Campus Specifics
The Neurohospitalist would not be involved in stroke codes as there is a dedicated stroke consult team/service for this.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Neurology
- Eligible for medical licensure in New York
- Committed to academic medicine and trainee education
- Comfortable working in diverse care models (resident-led teams and PA-supported services)
- Skilled in managing high-acuity inpatient neurologic conditions
- Collaborative, adaptable, and team-oriented
Compensation and Benefits
In addition to a starting competitive base salary of $240,000, we offer productivity incentives, LTD, STD, paid malpractice, health, dental, vision and a 403(b) are also offered among much more.
