About the role

Candidates must be able to obtain and/or maintain a Department of Defense Secret clearance as a condition and continuation of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot Aruba switching, routing, wireless, and data center networking solutions while maintaining security, availability, and performance.
• Design, implement, and support Juniper networking solutions including Junos OS, routing protocols, firewall policies, and secure network architectures.
• Deep understanding of Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, VRFs, EVPN/VXLAN, BGP, OSPF, network segmentation, and high-availability architectures.
• Experience designing and supporting network connectivity within hybrid cloud environments, including VPC/VNet design, cloud routing, transit gateways, VPNs, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute, and network security controls.
• Ability to implement secure network architectures aligned with DoD/Federal requirements, including firewall management, NAC, micro-segmentation, Zero Trust principles, STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness activities.
• Works effectively with cloud, security, systems, storage, and application teams to design solutions, resolve incidents, support ATO/RMF activities, and drive infrastructure modernization initiatives.
