About the role

The Network/DevOps Engineer 2 position is responsible for maintaining and enhancing the company’s network infrastructure and DevOps practices. Key responsibilities include managing network devices, implementing security measures, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage and troubleshoot network devices including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Implement and maintain security protocols to protect company data.
• Collaborate with developers to integrate network solutions into applications.
• Perform regular audits and updates to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Support disaster recovery plans and conduct routine testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or DevOps roles.
• Proficiency in networking technologies such as Cisco, Juniper, and Linux.
• Experience with cloud services and automation tools like AWS, Azure, and Ansible.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with network design and implementation.
• Knowledge of network security best practices and certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CISSP).
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
• Understanding of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually.

Schedule

Hybrid schedule: 40 hours per week, split between remote and office work.
