Key Responsibilities
- Provides technical assistance and training to end-users.
- Complex hardware and software support responsibilities, as well as increased skills in such areas as troubleshooting, application support, hardware installation, hardware/software integration, evaluation of vendor software packages, interface with external hardware/software vendors, or customer service responsibilities.
- Primary Technical Support for end users, including off-hours support.
- Installs, modifies, configures, upgrades, and troubleshoots personal computer hardware and software.
- Installs, configures, and maintains peripheral equipment (e.g. printers, scanners, monitors, keyboards, IP phones, etc.).
- Physical maintenance of networking equipment (Wireless Access Points, Cisco switches, ethernet cabling), including replacing failed access points and network switches.
- Diagnostics hardware, software, and end-user problems and takes remedial actions.
- Aids in the implementation of procedural changes.
- Install, modify, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot application related software, including, but not limited to, Microsoft products, Oracle Products, Developer Tools (Git, UFT, SQLDeveloper, etc.), virus protection, and general office automation.
Job Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited College/University is preferred. Alternative Path: If the candidate does not possess a relevant four-year degree, an additional four years of relevant work experience will be required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-7 years of relevant experience.
