Network Technician

About the Role

This is a 9+ month contract position located in Westborough, MA, with the possibility of extension or conversion. The ideal candidate will have experience similar to a data center technician, including building racks, working with hardware tools, and possessing basic computing and logging skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hardware inspections, identifying discrepancies and documenting findings to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Assemble first article builds, test fixtures, racks, and associated wiring, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
• Provide feedback to mechanical, electrical, and manufacturing engineering teams on tooling, consumables, debugging processes, and test setups.
• Maintain and update team Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), documenting process improvements and changes.
• Perform tasks across multiple defined process paths, escalating issues when deviations from standard processes occur.
• Meet productivity, quality, and safety standards while identifying opportunities for process optimization.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is between $20.00/hr and $22.00/hr. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
