Network & Systems Security Analyst Sr

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement network, server, and storage infrastructure based on project requirements, capacity plans, and system support.
• Problem solving involves basic troubleshooting following the OSI (Open Systems Interconnection) model, making or calling for equipment repairs, and problem escalation.
• Consulting on small project design and plans. May serve as a project lead and mentor.
• Works under general supervision.
• Maintains Level 1 Network & Systems Security Analyst responsibilities, which include monitoring, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and remediating server and network related problems and failures.
• Installs and configures server and network related hardware/software which meet the company's security standards.

Requirements

• Has obtained at least one associate and one senior level certification from organizations such as Microsoft, VMware, Cisco, or other relevant IT certifications.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or an equivalent IT discipline (MIS).
• Preferred certifications include CCNA, VCP, CISSP, or MCSA.
• 3-6 years of related hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Windows servers, VMware, firewall support, Storage Area Networks, Cisco Networking, SolarWinds ITSM administration experience including configuration and support.
