Network & Systems Security Analyst

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement network, server, and storage infrastructure based on project requirements, capacity plans, and system support.
• Solve problems involving basic troubleshooting following the OSI model, make or call for equipment repairs, and problem escalate.
• Consult on small project design and plans. May serve as a project lead and mentor.
• Works under general supervision.
• Maintains monitoring, troubleshoots, diagnoses, and remedies server and network related problems and failures.
• Installs and configures server and network related hardware/software that meets the company's security standards.

Requirements

• Has obtained at least one associate and one senior level certification (e.g., MCSA, MCSE, VCP, CCNA, CCNP, CEH, CISSP, etc.).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent IT discipline (MIS).
• Preferred certifications: CCNA, VCP, CISSP, or MCSA.
• 3-6 years of related hands-on experience implementing and maintaining Windows servers, VMware, firewall support, Storage Area Networks, Cisco Networking, SolarWinds ITSM administration experience including configuration and support.
