Network Systems Administrator

About the role

Support secure networks that enable sensitive activities and operational units in a full-time, on-site environment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, audit, and support a secure MS Windows network environment and web/data applications.
• Manage internet protocols, file servers, firewalls, security systems, and documentation.
• Provide technical support to local customers and resolve system issues promptly.
• Perform hardware upgrades, firmware updates, system configurations, and data backups.
• Participate in planning meetings to prepare systems for operational use and testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of IT experience.
• Must obtain DoD IAT Level II certification within 6 months (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA).
• Applicable Windows certifications based on supported systems.
• Current Top-Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility, access to SAP, and willingness for a polygraph.
• Travel within the area of responsibility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform mobility tasks within the office environment.

Skills

• Preferred: SCI/SAP experience, knowledge of Windows Server, LAN/WAN, data backup, security standards, and cross-domain solutions.
• Ability to work independently in dynamic environments with military and industry partners.
