About the role
As a Network Systems Administrator, you’ll play a meaningful role in managing company technology needs, including implementing and maintaining IT systems and networks, workstations, and other infrastructure across multiple sites. Primary duties include solving a variety of server, network, OS, application, and other problems, both remote and onsite. The position demands expert knowledge in Microsoft systems, applications, Azure, Active Directory, and basic networking.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain IT systems and networks
- Troubleshoot server, network, OS, application, and other technical issues (remote and onsite)
- Administer Microsoft systems, including Azure and Active Directory
- Manage Windows and iOS systems
- Provide technical support and explain concepts to non-technical users
- Collaborate with teams and maintain strong customer service standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 3-5 years of experience in Systems/Network Administration
- Working knowledge of LAN and WAN networking
- Fundamental understanding of TCP/IP and DNS
- 3+ years of advanced troubleshooting of Windows OS and application issues
- 1-2 years of experience with virtualization technologies
- Cloud administration experience (Azure preferred)
- Strong soft skills, including customer service, teamwork, and communication
- Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical people
- Working knowledge of Active Directory administration and other Microsoft technologies
- Broad and thorough experience with IT support
- Ability to work independently under time and other pressures
Qualifications
- Net+, A+, and MCSE certifications (or equivalent knowledge) are a plus

Schedule
Travel is regular but primarily local during the business day. Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected occasionally.
