About the role

As an Internal Cloud PaaS Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining cutting-edge cloud platforms that empower application teams to deploy and operate applications efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for innovative cloud solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and support the Internal Cloud Platform as a Service (PaaS) based on VMware Tanzu Application Server (TAS)
• Ensure the TAS platform meets enterprise standards for availability, scalability, security, and developer experience
• Own the platform architecture, configuration standards, and engineering patterns for application deployment and operation
• Collaborate with automation, SRE, and operations teams to improve platform reliability and lifecycle management
• Support application onboarding, modernization, and integration within the PaaS environment

Requirements

• 4-5 years of experience engineering or operating Platform as a Service (PaaS) environments
• Hands-on experience with Linux, application runtimes, and platform architecture
• Familiarity with VMware, virtualization concepts, and internal cloud platforms
• Experience supporting developer onboarding, CI/CD integration, and application runtime platforms
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
