Network/System Engineer II

TNCC Personnel

Provide Tier II customer service support to US ARMY INSCOM customers.

• Software support to CISCO routers and switches
• Dell PCs
• Sun Servers
• Juniper routers
• In-Line Encryption (INE) devices
• Network security appliances
• Other related network hardware

Qualifications

• Clearance Requirements: TS, SCI eligibility
• Education: None
• Certification Requirements: CCNA is required, IAT-2: GSEC, or Security + CE, or SSCP, or CCNA- Security CCNA, or CCENT
• Experience Requirements: 5 years of experience configuring, operating, and troubleshooting networks.

Essential Functions

• Sitting at desk
• Phone use and PC or laptop
• Filing required
• Lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs
• Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone
• Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 15 pounds
• General office equipment: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment
• May require operating motor vehicles
• Attendance: Regular attendance in accordance with established work schedule is mandatory
• Work Environment: Inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting)
• Physical Requirements: Sitting at desk. Phone use and PC or laptop. Filing required. May require lifting and carrying boxes of supplies or files up to 25 lbs. Extended periods of sitting while on PC/laptop or phone. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand and/or walk; handle or feel objects; and write. Ability to bend, reach, lift, and carry up to 15 pounds
• Equipment and Machines: General office equipment, which includes: telephone, fax machine, copier, PC/laptop, and other miscellaneous office equipment. May require operating motor vehicles

Work Environment

• Work will be performed inside a large facility.
• Work assignments vary based on client requirements.
• Work may include travel with the military to participate in exercises in austere conditions.
• Outside work may include various environmental conditions including hot, dusty, cold, icy and windy climates.

Hours

• 12-hour shifts (6pm - 6am)
• One 8-hour (6pm - 2am) shift in a pay period.
• (44 hours one week, 36 hours one week)
• Days: Su, M, T and every other Wed.

Travel

• Continental and Oversees travel may be required.
• It is important to maintain a current passport.

Compensation Details

• $115,000 - $120,000
