Network / System Engineer

About the role

Network/System Engineer hybrid position in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX area, requiring a minimum of three days onsite per week. Responsible for network automation and systems administration tasks, scripting, CI/CD pipelines, technical leadership, and mentoring junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Automate repetitive tasks using scripting languages.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient deployment.
• Implement network configuration and management automation strategies.
• Lead architectural discussions and decision‑making processes.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
• Document technical processes and systems configurations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including engineers and developers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a senior‑level network engineering role.
• Strong background in enterprise‑level network solutions design and implementation.
• Proficiency in network protocols and scripting languages.
• Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.

Pay

$51.26‑$73.24 per hour.
