Network Subject Matter Expert - Intermediate
Responsibilities
- Provides support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter.
- Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives.
- Thinks independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills.
- Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Guides the successful completion of major programs and may function in a project leadership role.
- Develops technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity.
Requirements
- Minimum ten (10) years in a relevant field, (Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).
- Deployment of WAN networks.
- Deployment of a separate Pulse Secure Remote Access VPN architecture.
- Supports the design and implementation of WAN equipment on the NIPR and SIPRTechnology refreshes and upgrades.
- Wireless technologies.
- IPv6 transition and transition.
- Tier III network troubleshooting.
- Network engineering services to support the full WAN lifecycle including design, implementation, installation, testing and transition to sustainment.
- Analysis of hardware, hardware configuration, security policy, network management, network protocols and security solutions in support of network functions related to the interoperability of the LAN, WAN (NIPR & SIPR) and DISN.
Qualifications
- Must have Secret Clearance with IT-I eligibility.
- Must have active CCNP-E (CCIE preferred) and Check Point Security Administrator.
- Must have one of the following DoD 8570 Baseline IAT Level III certifications: CASP+, CECCNP, Security, CISAC, ISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH.
- Additional certifications preferred: Check Point Certified Security Expert, AWS Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Certified Azure Fundamentals.

Pay
Target salary range $110,000.00 - 180,000.00.
Schedule
Day shift Monday - Friday. May be requested to work evenings and weekends to meet program and contract needs.
