Network Storage Administrator
About the role
As a network storage engineer and administrator, you’ll be integral to architecting, deploying, and operating complex network environments across various DoD clients in the Indo-Pacific area. You'll create and employ new storage architectures to meet client requirements adhering to Zero Trust best practices in hybrid environments that demand high resiliency for data access. You will interface with key stakeholders and users, including internal delivery and engineering teams as well as cybersecurity professionals, to assure resilient data-centric delivery. You'll assist in designing and implementing custom policies to ensure positive control of data across hybrid cloud environments. You will mentor the next set of storage engineers to help them grow into tomorrow’s data architects.
Responsibilities
- Create and employ new storage architectures to meet client requirements adhering to Zero Trust best practices in hybrid environments that demand high resiliency for data access.
- Interface with key stakeholders and users, including internal delivery and engineering teams as well as cybersecurity professionals, to assure resilient data-centric delivery.
- Assist in designing and implementing custom policies to ensure positive control of data across hybrid cloud environments.
- Mentor the next set of storage engineers to help them grow into tomorrow’s data architects.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience designing, deploying, and configuring network storage solutions including VDI and hyper-converged solutions.
- Experience with provisioning storage and performance tuning for operational demand.
- Experience in assisting with backup and recovery planning and implementation, including configurations and policy.
- Citrix experience.
- Experience with virtual environment management, such as VMWare solutions.
- Experience with hybrid networks and virtualization technologies.
- Experience documenting and diagramming technical architectures.
Qualifications
- Secret clearance.
- HS diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in an IT, Cybersecurity, or Engineering field.
Skills
- Storage Management and Administration Certification, including Dell, HPE, NetApp, AWS, or Azure Certification.

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Work will primarily be performed at a Booz Allen office or customer facility, where employees will collaborate directly with colleagues and customers as required by the role.
