This pivotal role will focus on maintaining and enhancing the stability and performance of their extensive network infrastructure. The position offers an exciting opportunity to influence the resilience of critical technological systems, supporting the organisation's ambitious goals and technological aspirations.Key Responsibilities Manage, troubleshoot, and optimise the reliability of the organisation's network infrastructure through hands-on engineering and operational supportResolve complex network and security issues promptly across diverse platformsDevelop and maintain automation tools to improve network efficiency and reliabilityImplement and refine monitoring systems to enable proactive management of network healthCollaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive continuous improvement and participate in both project delivery and on-call support Essential Skills & Experience A degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or a comparable technical disciplineAt least five years' practical experience in operating and engineering large-scale production networks, including on-call responsibilitiesStrong operational insight with a proven track record of maintaining network stability under pressureProficiency in scripting and automation, particularly with Python, to streamline network operationsWell-versed in core networking protocols including UDP, TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and multicast, with hands-on experience in Linux and/or Windows environmentsExperience with firewall management and security platforms such as Palo AltoFamiliarity with network observability tools for metrics, monitoring, and troubleshootingKnowledge of declarative configuration management systems Desirable Skills & Experience Experience with high-performance data networks and storage systemsKnowledge of advanced security and compliance protocolsFamiliarity with network infrastructure at enterprise scale If you possess the skills and experience to excel in this impactful role, we invite you to submit your CV for consideration.
