Responsibilities

• Technical operation and engineering of Cloudflare's core data center network
• Planning, installation, and management of hardware and software
• Day-to-day operations of the network supporting internal needs like databases, logging, and application clusters
• Building tools to automate operational tasks and streamline deployment processes
• Designing and bringing ideas from concept to production

Desirable Skills, Knowledge, And Experience

• 3 years of relevant Network/Site Reliability Engineering experience
• BA/BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Experience with configuration management frameworks like Saltstack, Ansible, Chef
• Experience with NX-OS, JUNOS, EOS, Cumulus, or Sonic Network Operating Systems
• AI-native skills: building deployment and troubleshooting tools, automating configurations, parsing logs, and streamlining documentation
• Solid Linux systems administration experience
• Strong software development skills in Go and Python
