Key Responsibilities
- Monitor client networks, servers, endpoints, backup systems, and patch deployment status.
- Triage and resolve alerts, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate complex issues to senior staff.
- Track, monitor, and assist with deployment of critical and high-priority patches, ensuring client compliance.
- Verify backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and escalate unresolved backup issues.
- Maintain accurate incident, remediation, and resolution records within ticketing systems.
- Collaborate with Tier 2/3 engineers and SOC staff on escalated incidents or projects.
- Support vulnerability remediation and follow security best practices across client environments.
- Provide clear, timely updates to internal teams and clients regarding incidents and ongoing tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
- Achieved associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Networking, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- 1+ years of IT support, help desk, or network monitoring experience preferred.
- Basic understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching).
- Familiarity with system and network monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems (basic troubleshooting and administration).
