About the role

The Network Operations Associate works in the office and is responsible for providing networking and facilities support to business and technology partners on a daily basis. You will collaborate with network engineers to engineer, test, document, and deploy networking solutions. Work duties may also include facilities support for the Network Operations Team. You will report to the Team Leader.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees assigned operational tasks to completion.
  • Identifies, creates, and develops documentation for the group.
  • Creates, maintains, and optimizes detailed process maps and system architecture diagrams using MS Visio and Lucidchart to align cross-functional teams.
  • Supports the growth of the business through various projects.
  • Follows group and firm policies and procedures.
  • Identifies potential process improvements and recommends solutions.
  • Identifies escalations and routes appropriately.
  • Responsible for properly handling sensitive and/or confidential documents.
  • Participates in training programs and professional development opportunities to enhance network engineering skills.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in Network Operations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Basic knowledge of Cisco routing and switching technologies.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn and a strong desire to build a career in network engineering.
  • Ability to adapt to changes in a fast-paced, team environment.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and visual diagramming software (Visio, Lucid Chart, etc.).
  • Familiarity with NMS platforms and data center software.

Pay

$60,000 - $80,000 base salary per year in the state of WA. New hires should expect to start at the lower end of the range depending on experience. Eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.

Schedule

This is an in-office role. Based on your role, tenure, and performance eligibility, you may have the opportunity to participate in our hybrid work-from-home program. This program is subject to change.
