For our client, a leader in the healthcare space, we are seeking a Network Lead Engineer to join their team. This role will lead technical work focused on cloud-enabled scalability, reliability, and delivery excellence. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available
Responsibilities
- Serve as the top-tier escalation point for critical network incidents
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support physical server builds and secure connectivity
- Manage and maintain firewalls, load balancers, and network infrastructure
- Develop and document network topologies and standard operating procedures for incident response
- Collaborate on incident monitoring and response through tools such as PagerDuty and NNMi
Qualifications
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity
- Expert-level knowledge of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP) and complex datacenter switching architectures
- Integration experience with Google GCP, AWS Azure, and public service providers like Workday and ServiceNow
- Experience in micro-segmentation environments (Illumio) and Palo Alto Prisma
- Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot Load Balancers and Next-Generation Firewalls
- Proficiency in IPAM solutions like Infoblox and monitoring tools like Micro Focus NNMi
- Strong communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Pay
$115,000 – $183,000 annually
