Network Field Technician
About the role
A large VAR and systems integrator with offices in Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, Alabama, and Florida is seeking six Network Field Technician consultants for initial six-month contract engagements. Consultants will work onsite at multiple locations and should be prepared to travel in support of these projects. All travel-related expenses will be reimbursed; however, travel time is not billable.
Responsibilities
- Deploying network switches onsite in customer environments
- Supporting the design, implementation, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise network environments
- Providing hands-on experience with routing, switching, and general enterprise network operations
- Offering strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Requirements
- CCNA certification (CCNP certification is preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Network Engineer
- Hands-on experience with routing, switching, and general enterprise network operations
Desired Skills
- Exposure to wireless, firewall, network security, SD-WAN, or network automation solutions
- Experience working in client-facing, consulting, or project-based environments
Benefits
This position offers excellent benefits and compensation packages. The expected hourly rate range for this role is: $30 – $48.75 per hour. The posted range is an estimate, the actual compensation offer will be based on the candidate’s experience, skills, qualifications, and will be in line with internal equity.
